By the time of this circa-1988 plan, ORLANDO FASHION SQUARE had opened its first cinema (shown in dark gray). A freestanding Toys "R" Us had also been built in the eastern periphery. One of the earliest Olive Garden restaurants had opened, as a southeastern outparcel, in 1984.

The Wayne, New Jersey-based toy retailer shadow-anchored FASHION SQUARE between August 1986 and October 2011. The store was the chain's third Central Florida location.
