Syracuse's Pyramid Companies built five PYRAMID MALL complexes. The first two -PYRAMID MALL JOHNSTOWN and PYRAMID MALL ONEONTA- were small, community-class centers. They opened in August and October of 1972. PYRAMID MALL SARATOGA (1973) was the first of three regional-sized centers. It was proceeded by PYRAMID MALL PLATTSBURGH (1975) and PYRAMID MALL ITHACA (1976).
