Greater Seattle's Bellevue (Shopping) Square

Seattle-based Frederick & Nelson anchored the original cluster-type complex. The store, which carried only women's and children's merchandise, opened in August 1946. In 1956, F & N moved to a larger (full-line) location, with this original store becoming a J.J. Newberry 5 & 10.
