Our initial PLYMOUTH MEETING plan dates to late 1966. At this time, the Delaware Valley shopping hub is centered on the aforementioned Woolworth 5 & 10. A Food Fair grocery, on the Upper Level, fronted on Hickory Road. In its original state, the shopping hub spanned around 800,000 leasable square feet and contained 101 stores and services under its roof. There was free parking for 5,000 autos.
