We assembled a logo collage of stores that have operated in the east anchor space at GREEN ACRES MALL. At last count, there were seven.

The mall's Best Buy big box. In the spring of 2007, it replaced a strip center originally occupied by a First National Stores supermarket.

A lot has changed at GREEN ACRES MALL by 2015. Kmart opened a freestanding store (1992), which became a Wal-Mart (2003). Alexander's was replaced by a newly-built Caldor (1994), which was joined by Home Depot (1994). Caldor morphed into a Target (1999). BJ's Wholesale Club opened on the mall's southern periphery (2007). Lastly, a Century 21 store has just been installed in gutted and rebuilt North Wing space.
