The 13 million dollar -Phase One- PLAZA CAMINO REAL. It was San Diego County's first regional-class, fully-enclosed shopping center. In its original state, the mall encompassed 625,000 leasable square feet and housed sixty-three stores. Its bi-level parking lot had accommodations for 3,100 autos.
