Welcome to the largest mall and retail history site on the internet. The MALL HALL OF FAME is a vintage shopping mall scrapbook. Its focus is on shopping complexes built -in the USA- between 1946 and 1979. Don't forget to visit our four Shopping Mall Memory Lanes, which transport you through time to a mall in 1956, 1963, 1970 and 1977!

A Food Court, built at the mall's Main Entrance, was part of a renovation completed in June of 1990.

The DC Metro's Prince George's Plaza station was situated across the East-West Highway from the shopping hub. The train terminal, originally a stop on the Green Line, opened in December 1993. It was eventually incorporated into the Metro Yellow Line. The station was renamed Hyattsville Crossing in July 2021.
