A lifestyle addition, known as THE VILLAGE, was to be anchored by the Showcase Cinemas 12 seen in the right of this rendering. The project was abandoned when the owners of the mall defaulted on their upside down mortgage in late 2009.

Although the Cinemas 12 addition was cancelled, the south end of the mall was eventually rebuilt with a new Market Basket grocery. On the northeast end of the complex, Jo-Ann Fabrics has taken out five store spaces. Moreover, Marshalls has moved into an outparcel store vacated by A.J. Wright. The old Marshalls has been retenanted by C.W. Price.
