A major renovation and expansion was done at SOUTHCENTER between May 2006 and July 2008. In a circa-2010 plan, we see that the southern section of the mall has been razed and replaced by a 3-level addition (in medium gray). The first floor of a vacant Mervyn's has also been retenanted by Seafood City, a Filipino specialty grocer.
