By 2006, a lot has changed. On the right side of this snapshot we see the new PLAZA AT ROSEDALE, a lifestyle-like collection of open-air boutiques and bistros. This addition was anchored by the state-of-the-art AMC Rosedale 14 megaplex (in lower right).

A circa-2008 site plan shows ROSEDALE CENTER, it's new Plaza at Rosedale wing and AMC megaplex. With their completion, the mall encompassed approximately 1,240,400 leasable square feet and housed 147 stores and services. There was now free parking for 5,600 autos.

The ROSEDALE interior was refurbished in 2016 and 2017. New flooring, railing, support columns and furnishings were installed. Storefronts were updated and a 13-bay Revolution Hall food court was built in a vacant Borders Books space.

The 2010s redo was done in conjunction with the construction of a new Northeast Wing and Von Maur. This store opened in October 2018, just months after Herberger's closed for good. In retrospect, Von Maur probably should have just waited a bit and moved into the remodeled (and then abandoned) Herberger's space.
