The mall's cinema closed for good in February 1987. Woolworth's went dark in July 1997. They were divided into inline store spaces (in dark gray). A major renovation was done between 2006 and 2009. A vacant Strawbridge's was razed and replaced by a new Nordstrom Wing (light gray). Moreover, a "Bistro Row" was established along the south-facing front of the complex.


Bamberger's, which anchored the east end of CHERRY HILL CENTER, was rebranded by Macy's in October 1986. In this circa-2015 snapshot, we see said store and one of the Cherry Hill Rocks. These were created for the original mall in the early '60s and were nearly identical to those made for Greater Baltimore's HARUNDALE MALL, in 1958.

The Picnic Food Court (1985) was relocated during the the 2008-2009 renovation. The new Cherry Hill Cafes -in the J.C. Penney wing- opened in August 2008.
