By the mid-1980s, the complex is officially promoted as CHERRY HILL MALL. An extended North Wing (in gray) had been completed in 1979. It included J.C. Penney and a new Food Court. The in-mall cinema was now a twin venue. Bamberger's had also been enlarged with a north addition. The shopping hub now spans around 1,284,700 leasable square feet, with free parking for 6,500 autos.
