The first new stores in THE STREETS AT SOUTHGLENN opened their doors in July 2008, with a complex-wide dedication being held in August 2009. Sears, a holdover from the original mall, is seen in the background of this image.

By November 2009, THE STREETS OF SOUTHGLENN was fully realized. There were eighty-eight stores and services. Only two -Sears and Macy's- remained from the original mall (they are surrounded in blue on this site plan). Sears, a SOUTHGLENN tenant for more than 44 years, shut down in late 2018.
