The tiny FASHION SQUARE (in black) was expanded exponentially in 1970-'71. An enclosed mall was added, whose east end featured 2 shopping levels. The complex, promoted as DEL AMO FASHION SQUARE, featured new Ohrbach's and Montgomery Ward stores, along with a 4-plex cinema. There were over 150 tenant spaces.


The DEL AMO FASHION SQUARE Montgomery Ward was comprised of two levels. It encompassed 160,000 square feet and opened for business in April 1971.
