By the turn of the 20th century, the mall is promoted as DUTCH SQUARE CENTER.
A major alteration was completed in 1997, when a vacant Tapp's was
bulldozed and replaced by a megaplex cinema (in gray). This renovation
included an indoor-outdoor face lift and reconfiguration of the old Woolco space. The White's
store morphed into a Belk-Simpson in 1999.
