Opened in 1972, PLAZA CENTER was anchored by an Albertsons supermarket.

The Big Nickle book store was one of the inline stores along the enclosed mall.

In the here and now, the complex is promoted as PLAZA MALL. However, it is strictly a strip-type shopping complex, as the enclosed concourse was gutted and rebuilt as outward-facing stores. The center encompasses 167,900 leasable square feet and contains eighteen stores.
