A third big box store was created out of gutted mall space. Sportsman's Warehouse, which encompassed nearly 28,000 square feet, opened for business in mid-2016.

In a second interior view, a Jo-Ann Fabrics mall entrance appears in the distance. This store has operated in NUGGET MALL since 2003.

We wrap up our Alaska Malls section with a circa-2017 NUGGET MALL site plan. The East Wing of the 149,900 square foot shopping facility is now composed entirely of big box stores. The mall proper now houses twenty-six retail spaces.
