The first cinematic venue in the mall, the UA Theatres Movies at Golden Ring 1-2-3, made its debut in June 1976. A second complex, the Movies at Golden Ring 4-5, was dedicated in September 1977.

As this ad attests, four new auditoria opened for business in November 1985. This third mall multiplex was known as the Movies at Golden Ring 6-7-8-9.

Cinemas at GOLDEN RING MALL would come and go over the years. However, the official logo of the shopping hub, envisaged in the early 1970s, was used throughout the mall's commercial life.
