Sanger-Harris had been rebranded as a Houston-based Foley's in July 1987. In the mid-'90s, the shopping complex was expanded with a 336,700 square foot West Wing (medium gray). A third anchor was built. with the food court relocated. The mall's gross leasable area now measured approximately 916,700 square feet. It housed 140 stores, with free parking for 4,600 autos.


Said West Wing was anchored by Dillard's. The store encompassed 3 levels and 230,000 square feet.

HULEN MALL is one of those rare instances where an abandoned Montgomery Ward store re-opened as a Sears. This change took place in 2001-2002.
