The basic structure of YORKTOWN CENTER remained unchanged for over 36 years. A major renovation commenced in early 2005. An abandoned Montgomery Ward was razed and replaced with SHOPS ON BUTTERFIELD, an open-air and enclosed lifestyle component. In this circa-2006 aerial view, this new section is under construction.
