2009. The east end of the site was reconfigured in the 1990s. A vacant Buffums' became part of a 9-plex cinema. Bullock's was replaced by Home Depot. The original cinema was expanded into a 16-plex. The mall's East Wing was enlarged with new Macy's and Mervyn's stores. Mervyn's morphed into Forever 21. Macy's moved into the old May Co. structure, with the original Macy's being replaced by a new Costco.
One of the more recent modifications at LAKEWOOD CENTER reconfigured the Terrace Cafes Food Court, on Level 2, into a Round 1 Bowling & Amusement Cernter. The entertainment facility opened in September 2013.
