A view of Center Court at the original MISSION VALLEY CENTER. A park-like area was situated on the mall's lower level parking deck. The complex was the second shopping mall in "America's Finest City". It followed COLLEGE GROVE CENTER, which had opened for business in the summer of 1960.

Another aerial view of the mid-century shopopolis, this time looking toward the northwest. The humongous structure on the right is the "May's Mission Valley" (May Company) department store.
