A circa-2015 layout. The closing of Scheels and Target, in 2008, created large vacancies. Dillard's was mentioned as a possible replacement for Target, but this never came to pass. Another farm implement retailer backed out of a leasing arrangement in July 2009. Meanwhile, J.C. Penney moved into the space, on a temporary basis, in February 2015. They operated there while their circa-1978 store was renovated.
Above we have a circa-2015 aerial view of the shopping hub, which is the only enclosed shopping center in a 250 mile radius. From this vantage point (which is looking westward), we see Sears in the foreground.
