Dick's built a new store on land where G.C. Murphy once stood. The Pittsburgh-based sporting goods retailer opened at the shopping center in 1995.

That well-known Minneapolis-based discount chain took up shop in late 2004. At this time, the mall was undergoing a major renovation. It would reemerge, as CENTRE AT GLEN BURNIE, in mid-2005.
