An aerial photo from around 1970. The large anchor store in the foreground, originally The Fair, was rebranded by Montgomery Ward in 1964. As part of the conversion, the building was greatly enlarged. A freestanding Auto Center was also built.

OLD ORCHARD CENTER, circa-1978. Saks Fifth Avenue has just relocated from their circa-1958 store into a new building at the northeast corner of the mall. Two parking structures have also been completed.
