A physical layout from 1996, following the fourth -and final-
renovation of the mid-century shopping center. Its two
anchor department stores had been bulldozed, leaving a
little over 650,000 square feet of mall standing. This
wrecking ball remodel proved unsuccessful. CAPITOL
COURT was completely razed five years later.

Thanks for the details about Sears and JCP.
Ill try and get the CAPITOL COURT write-up corrected in the near future....
Thanks again,
Is it possible to add another site layout, as an enclosed, struggling, and slightly expanded mall?
Jonah,
I'll look into it. Unfortunately, info on this mall is VERY difficult to come by....and I can't find any old aerial views either.
Remember the Huffy Puffy Choo Choo and the Gingerbread House?
Anon,
I'm afraid I don't remember anything about this mall....I was never anywhere near it, to be honest.
Anyway, I believe the "Gingerbread House" you are referring to was the "Kooky Cooky House". It is seen in a VERY small drawing on the "Candy Cane Lane" ad in this article.
In fact, there is a website devoted to the house. The link is below the ad.
Thanks for posting.
