In this aerial view from September 1966, we see that two structures have been added to the 4-year-old shopping complex. On the far right are the recently-completed Hilldale Professional Building and single-screen Hilldale Theatre.

HILLDALE CENTER was enclosed with a network of steel and glass panels. The new "enclosed" mall was dedicated in March 1970. Tenants at the time included Julie Ann Fabrics, Lord Jim men's wear and Hoffman's Double-H Steak House.

August 1985. A thin strip of inline stores (in gray) has been added to the shopping concourse. HILLDALE CENTER now encompasses approximately 441,100 leasable square feet. Note: the A & P supermarket has been rebranded as a Sentry Foods.
