In January 2017, work began on a second phase demalling. This reconfigured the south end of the complex. It was opened to the elements with a public plaza, known as "The Green." This fronted on a new L.L. Bean, Apple Store, relocated bookstore and Bartaco bistro. A new entrance and north facade were also created for the existing movie multiplex.

By May 2018, the section of enclosed concourse that remained after the 2014-2015 remodeling has been demolished and replaced with exterior-entranced store space. The mall...make that lifestyle center...now contains approximately 625,000 leasable square feet. As a matter of note, the Sundance Cinema 608, on the south end of the South Wing, was rebranded by AMC in mid-2017.
