Trademarks of the major American exhibitors, at least as they existed in August 2012. At the time of the original posting, I was concerned that this logo collection would soon be outdated. Following the current trend, one or two companies could be bought -or otherwise absorbed- by another. This proved to be prophetic. The Rave chain was acquired (or gobbled up) by Cinemark in May 2013. Carmike became an AMC holding in March 2016.
