In an interior view of the same store, we see a display featuring the "new" 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This was the introductory "T-Bird" model.

In a circa-1958 physical layout, the initial 1954 strip plaza shown in black. The 1957 Normandale Arcade expansion is indicated in medium gray. The combined gross leasable area of both shopping center sections was approximately 325,000 square feet. There were fifty stores and services and parking spaces for 1,000 autos.
