The shopping concourses at the original mall were named after several European locales and American cities. There was a Westminster Mall, Italia Mall, Alpine Mall and Normandy Mall, to name a few. These were linked by various Lanes, i.e., Maiden, Petticoat, Edelweiss, etcetera. All sixteen are indicated on the diagram above.
Omaha-based Brandeis established a 4-level -80,000 square foot- branch at WESTROADS CENTER. This was installed in an unfinished Northwest Wing. The store opened in October 1972.
