Puerto Rico's MALL OF SAN JUAN was the final project built under the auspices of A. Alfred Taubman. The luxury shopping hub opened its doors in March 2015.

A. Alfred Taubman attended the official dedication of THE MALL OF SAN JUAN, which was held on March 26, 2015 (he appears fifth from the left). Mr. Taubman passed away less than a month later.

Taubman Centers continued its mall-development endeavors following its founders' demise. Four complexes opened in China and South Korea between 2016 and 2024. A merger with the Simon Property Group was finalized in December 2020, with members of the Taubman family retaining an interest in the concern.
