North Carolina's Roses chain co-anchored the original CROSSROADS complex. The 1-level store encompassed 33,100 square feet.

In mid-1984, the store was rebannered as a (quote-unquote) "P.H. Rose," obviously a homage to the chain's founder, Paul Howard Rose.

The P.H. Rose nameplate was short-lived. By December 1984, the store was operating as an Eagles Variety Store. This was out of business by 1987.
