Houston's Memorial Shopping City 

Vintage photos of Houston's seventh shopping mall are few and far between. However, we were able to locate this interior view of the MEMORIAL SHOPPING CITY of days gone by. Visible on the left is Hardy Shoes, who also had a store at Houston's NORTHLINE SHOPPING CITY.

Wow! We actually found a second vintage photo of MEMORIAL SHOPPING CITY. Sears, which anchored the south end of the complex, pre-dated the mall by two years. The store welcomed first shoppers in 1964.
