Welcome to the largest mall and retail history site on the internet. The MALL HALL OF FAME is a vintage shopping mall scrapbook. Its focus is on shopping complexes built -in the USA- between 1946 and 1979. Don't forget to visit our four Shopping Mall Memory Lanes, which transport you through time to a mall in 1956, 1963, 1970 and 1977!

Over the years, the mall's Lower Level has been reconfigured a couple of times. The original kiddie rides, ice rink and mini-golf course were replaced by a Farmer's Market in 1973. In 1985, the twin cinema closed. A Clover discount store and The Park food court (seen above) were built in the Farmer's Market area. Clover shut down and was replaced by Kohl's in 1996.
