If a proposed 750 million dollar renovation is performed, the GALLERIA will be reconfigured as an environmentally-friendly, New Urbanism-style retail, hotel and residential facility.

In an aerial rendering of a redeveloped GALLERIA, we see that a high rise has been built on the west side of Neiman Marcus. Another tower, and two apartment complexes, have been built beside Macy's. The roof has also been removed from the west end of the mallway.
