The CORTANA MALL Mervyn's was shuttered in early 2006 and never retenanted. The shopping concourse closed in September 2019, leaving just a Dillard's Clearance Center in business. This store went dark in May 2021. Demolition of the 1.6 million square foot complex commenced in March 2021. This made the 1.5 million square foot MALL OF LOUISIANA the Bayou State's largest complex, by default.
