Welcome to the largest mall and retail history site on the internet!

In the late '60s, Joseph Magnin (in dark gray) had moved to a new store on the north end of the mall. The Butler Brothers (later City of Paris and Liberty House) store on the south end was razed in the mid-1970s. San Francisco-based Bullock's North opened a store in October 1977. This was connected to the mall proper by a glass-enclosed section built over Winston Drive.

The STONESTOWN Bullock's was a branch of a Northern California division of the Los Angeles-based chain. This store, and the entire Bullock's North operation, closed down in 1983.
