The HONEY CREEK Macy's closed for good in March 2018. This was followed by the demise of Carson's in June of the same year. The mall's "anchors away" scenario continued into late 2018, when the shuttering of Sears was announced. This store's closing, in early 2019, left only one operational anchor...J.C. Penney.

By 2020, the empty Carson's store has been leased as Vendor's Village. The mall was sold in May 2019 and renamed HAUTE CITY CENTER in December.
