Houston-based Foley's opened their third branch in October 1966. Known as Foley's Almeda-Genoa, it would anchor ALMEDA MALL when that facility was completed 2 years later. Foley's Northwest, the chain's fourth branch, opened in July 1967. It anchored NORTHWEST MALL, which was dedicated in October 1968. These two Foley's stores -and the malls they anchored- were nearly identical.
