A Westfield property since 1999, the mall was substantially enlarged during the aforementioned 2003-2005 makeover. By the time of this circa-2006 layout, it was being promoted as WESTFIELD WHEATON.

A circa-2025 plan shows a major modification that was completed since the circa-2006 plan. A vacant south side anchor store has been knocked down. It was replaced by a vertically-stacked structure housing Costco, Dick's Sporting Goods, Jo-Anne Fabrics and a small parking deck. WESTFIELD WHEATON now spans approximately 1,650,300 leasable square feet and contains 183 stores under its roof.
