Two consecutive PARK LANE logos depict the antique street clock that was installed along the open-air shopping concourse in 1967. The first trademark appeared in late 1978. The second made its debut in early 1979, when the CENTRE had been fully-enclosed and renamed PARK LANE MALL.

The Macerich Company, known within the industry as The Mall Doctor, bought a majority interest in the property in December 1977. They did a roofing renovation in 1978-'79. Plans for a third anchor store, which was to be completed in the early 1980s, never panned out.
