By 1993, the mall has been expanded on two occasions. A Northeast Wing -anchored by Target- was completed in October 1980. A Northwest Wing -and new Herberger's- was dedicated in July 1992. Scheels Sports moved into the original Herberger's space in April 1993. The mall's gross leasable area now stood at around 844,500 square feet, with a compliment of 130 inline stores.
