The 48-year-old TYRONE SQUARE Sears was shuttered in January 2017. It was demolished in June and replaced by a 4-tenant strip structure that housed Dick's Sporting Goods, PetSmart, Five Below and a Lucky's Market gourmet grocer. The latter was replaced by a Hitchcock's Green Market, that was replaced by an Aldi Grocery.

The new Dick's Wing appears in light gray on this circa-2020 site plan. As one might surmise, the new structure is predominantly open-air. Subtracting Sears' square footage and adding that of the new mall wing, TYRONE SQUARE now encompassed approximately 1,059,000 leasable square feet.
