In the late 1970s, the SOUTH COUNTY mall was expanded into a tri-level format, with a third anchor -Stix, Baer & Fuller- added. The original Mall Level (in black) became a Middle Level. A new South Wing (in medium gray) had Upper and Lower levels. With these improvements, the shopping facility covered around 762,000 leasable square feet and contained eighty-eight stores and services.
