By 1971, a generic THE MALL moniker had morphed into "THE WYOMING MALL."

Much has changed at WYOMING MALL by the mid-'80s. The entire (United States) Woolco chain folded in January 1983. The vacant building was quickly retenanted by Service Merchandise and Safeway Plus. The freestanding Black Angus Steakhouse debuted in November 1978 (and -as of late 2023- is still in business).

Our fourth, and final, SNOW HEIGHTS-THE MALL-WYOMING MALL layout dates to the turn of the century. The complex was almost completely demalled by 1990, with much of the enclosed concourse obliterated and reconfigured as store space. Stein Mart joined the fold in the fall of 1998, as part of a subsequent mall makeover. Post-renovation, the mall proper covered around 310,400 leasable square feet and housed nineteen stores.
