Sycamore Plaza At Kenwood

After several years in a downward spiral, KENWOOD MALL was gutted, leaving only the floors, roof and some exterior walls standing. A power center of sixteen store spaces was created. Its name, SYCAMORE PLAZA AT KENWOOD, was derived from the location of the complex within Hamilton County's Sycamore Township.

An official re-dedication was held in November 1994. The reconfigured retail venue featured Barnes & Noble, All About Sports, Linens 'n Things and Staples (a holdover from the old KENWOOD MALL). When fully-leased, SYCAMORE PLAZA spanned 345,000 leasable square feet.

SYCAMORE PLAZA had two enclosed Atriums; one on the west side, the other on the east. Here we see the 3-level East Atrium and its labyrinthine network of escalators.
