Vermont's very first Target store opened at U-MALL in October 2018. It assumed space vacated by The Bon Ton in the previous January.

In a circa-2019 plan, we see the mall's shiny new Target, as well as a recently-opened H & M. The Swedish high fashion retailer took over four tenants spaces; these having been occupied by Express, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works and The Children's Place.
