Vermont's very first Target store opened at U-MALL in October 2018. It assumed space vacated by The Bon Ton in the previous January.

In a circa-2025 plan, we see the mall's eight-year-old Target, as well as H & M, which also opened October 2018. The Swedish high-fashion retailer's store took over four tenant spaces and four food court stalls. It encompassed almost 20,000 square feet.
