The fully-enclosed RIVERSIDE PLAZA was eventually usurped by newer and larger shopping venues in its trade area. The past its prime property was demalled in the summer of 2003. It was replaced by the lifestyle center seen above and below.

Today's RIVERSIDE PLAZA encompasses approximately 475,000 leasable square feet and contains fifty-two store spaces. El Torito Cantina Autentica occupies space in a western store block. The upscale restaurant chain, with locations in Northern and Southern California, is known for popularizing the margarita cocktail in the United States.
