NORTHGLENN was on life support by 1990. The facility closed for good in 1998 and was soon demolished. Stores in the new MARKETPLACE AT NORTHGLENN power center opened between 1999 and 2001. The name of the shopping facility was changed to NORTHGLENN MARKETPLACE in the 2010s.

Mervyn's was left standing when the remainder of NORTHGLENN MALL was knocked down. Following Mervyn's demise in 2006, the structure was repurposed and divided into three spaces. Tuesday Morning and a KG Fashion Superstore leased ground floor space, with Woodley's Fine Furniture on the upper floor.
